Here is a look at a few decorations that I made for a Christmas craft show last year that I saved to decorate my home. (I made the vintage looking trees on the candlesticks and added pillow stuffing to look like snow).
Here is my collection of Christmas salt and pepper shakers.
My nutcracker collection and some reindeer that I painted gold and added a dusting of snow glitter.
Some cookie cutters that I strung up and hung from a curtain rod in my kitchen.
A rustic arrangement that I made for the craft show in an old vegetable grinder.
A little white tree decorated with vintage ornaments and balls.
A lantern decorated with greenery and a Christmas bow. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

One of the crafts I enjoy is jewelry-making. Here are some of the many pieces of jewelry I have made through the years.
Here is an assortment of bracelets. One is wrapped in fabric strips and the other two are made from wire and beads.
Here ia a necklace I made from fabric yo-yos and buttons.
Some flower brooches to pin on a jacket, handbag or hat.
Some bracelets made from old clip-on earrings and buttons.
Two bracelets made from left over scraps of material and old lace.
I have enjoyed crafting for as long as I can remember. My grandmother was an important role model to me in this area. She helped me learn to sew by working on a quilt with me. She inspired me to experiment and be interested in lots of different types of art projects. Some of the crafts that I enjoy include flower arranging, sewing and making jewelry. I mostly like French Country or Shabby Chic decor. This fits in nicely with my love for antiques. I have experimented with painting furniture with chalk paint since it is all the rage right now. I enjoy sifting through old things to find items to use in projects. I love old textiles, lace and buttons which I frequently use in my jewelry designs.
